With Android 16 on deck to launch in June and the Pixel 9a seemingly set for sometime this month, it’s time to turn our attention to what else is next for Pixel in 2025. We’ve known for ages that Tensor G5 would likely be a big step forward for Google’s smartphones, but aside from internal specs and some AI rumors, the Pixel 10 series has been relatively quiet. Well wonder no more — a new leak is showcasing all three of Google’s non-foldable flagships for this year, and they’re looking pretty familiar.

Today’s leak comes from OnLeaks and Android Headlines, who published three different articles laying out renders for the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL. You’ll find images for all three in the slideshow below, but you’d also be forgiven for thinking these were year-old renders of what became the Pixel 9 series. After years of iterative improvements to its camera bar-laden design, it seems that Google is pretty happy with the look and feel of its current lineup.

Own a Pixel 9? You might already know what the Pixel 10 looks like

And is that such a bad thing?

From the size of the bezels to the curved corners and flat edges, not much here seems new. It’s a departure from Google’s status quo; from the Pixel 6 onwards, every successive generation kept the same relative identity while improving on some of the flaws of the previous model. Take the Pixel 7 series for example, which added a cover to the camera bar to help dial back some of the reflection issues faced on the Pixel 6. Reading between the lines, Google clearly doesn’t see a reason to abandon the Pixel 9’s more modern style.

It’s not just those renders that look familiar. Android Headlines also shared dimensions for all three phones, and they’re virtually identical to what came before. Both the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are a tenth of a millimeter thicker — 8.6mm vs. 8.5mm — which does seem to fly in the face of some of their smartphone rivals. The Pixel 10 Pro XL, meanwhile, keeps its 8.5mm thickness while adding a fraction of a millimeter to its height. These numbers also indicate that the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro will, once again, share cases between the two models.

If there’s one change, it could be to the camera. The Pixel 10 could sport a third camera lens, as seen in these CAD renders, though there’s no detail about what that additional sensor could be.

For anyone frustrated over the lack of the camera bar found in Pixel 9a leaks, don’t worry — it’s clear Google isn’t abandoning that design language just yet. In fact, the camera bar remains as bulky as ever, adding an additional 3.4mm in thickness to the Pixel 10, and presumably similar (or identical) numbers to its Pro-branded siblings.

It is worth taking some of this with a grain of salt, of course. Last month, OnLeaks and Android Headlines published renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 that looked virtually identical to Samsung’s most recent flip phone. Last week, the two updated their coverage with revised Flip 7 renders, complete with a Razr-esque full front display. While OnLeaks and Android Headlines both have a pretty strong track record, the complete lack of changes or revisions to the Pixel 10 do have me raising an eyebrow.

Still, would it surprise anyone if Google kept a near-identical look to its phones this year? The Pixel 9 series received strong reviews across the board, and with Tensor G5 presumably set to steal the show, we could be looking at a year where software and AI features are the name of the game. And with Apple having delayed its Siri relaunch into whatever the “coming year” means, the mobile AI race might just be Google’s to lose.
