Samsung makes some of the best Android tablets on the market. The company launched its Galaxy Tab S10 series last year, but one notable omission from the lineup was the baseline Galaxy Tab S10. So far, the Tab S10 series only includes the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the Tab S10+. It now looks like Samsung is preparing to expand the series, but not in the way you might expect.

Review: The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra left me begging for a smaller tablet
An awkward experience through and through
According to a report from Android Authority, Samsung has begun working on the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. There are still no rumors of a standard Galaxy Tab S10, but the company seems to be focusing on launching a budget variant of the Galaxy Tab S10 called Tab S10 Lite.
The leak claims the Tab S10 Lite will be available in both Wi-Fi and cellular variants, and it’ll be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1380 5G processor. There’s no additional info on specs yet, but it seems the Tab S10 Lite will target an even more affordable segment than the recently launched Galaxy Tab S10 FE models. The new Galaxy Tab S10 FE models run on the Exynos 1580 chip, while the Tab S10 Lite is expected to use a slightly lower-performing processor to keep costs down.
Clues about the Galaxy Tab S11 series have started showing up as well
In addition to the S10 Lite, the report also reveals that Samsung has started work on the Galaxy Tab S11 series. According to the leak, the company is planning to skip the Plus model this time around. Instead, Samsung is expected to launch just two models: the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both tablets are rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.
So far, there are no signs of a Galaxy Tab S11+ in development, though Samsung could always add that model later. For now, only the standard and Ultra versions have surfaced in early leaks.
Regardless, it’s great to see Samsung planning to expand the Galaxy Tab S10 series to cover more price points. There’s no word yet on when the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite might launch, but we’ll keep you posted as soon as more details emerge.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is large and in charge, a superpowered 14.6-inch slate that wants you to treat it like the laptop replacement it is. With a bundled S Pen and a speedy MediaTek Dimensity 9300+, it’s quite possibly the Android tablet to buy, but you’ll need the optional keyboard cover to really complete the experience.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10+ isn’t a huge improvement over its predecessor. It keeps plenty of what we liked about that model, including its 12.4-inch AMOLED display and its bundled S Pen, but swaps out a Snapdragon chip for MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+. It also has a greater focus on AI, with a dedicated key on its optional keyboard cover.
