After some early signs, it looks like the Motorola Signature 27 is really headed for the US market when it launches next week.
Motorola’s global X account posted a teaser today, signaling that the phone will have a wider audience than originally expected. Combined with the brief appearance of a banner for the Signature 27 on the US website that declared “a new perspective is coming,” it looks like a Motorola flagship is coming to US shores.
A premium phone
While Motorola has had success with its foldable phones in the US, its slab phones have been met with less fervor. It’s a tough market, particularly at the moment as the iPhone 18 is taking over headlines.
But the Motorola Signature 27 looks like it’s set to be a premium phone that could hold its own among Android fans. The post shows off a Dolby Vision 200MP camera and an olive leather-like material, as the words “Every material obsessed. Every detail considered. Crafted without compromise.” play over the peek we get of the phone.
It’s likely the phone will have a new Snapdragon flagship chipset, as the post touts a hashtag for the Snapdragon Summit and the launch day is the first day of the event.
The Signature 27 is expected to come in two Pantone colors, Coal Smoke and Capulet Olive.
The brand has a penchant for putting its offerings in Swarovski crystals for special editions, and that looks to be the case with the Signature 27, according to GSMArena which noticed “Crystals by Swarovski” branding on one banner.
