PHP | Imagick getImageSize() Function

The Imagick::getImageSize() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to get the image length in bytes.

Syntax:

int Imagick::getImageSize( void )

Parameters: This function doesn’t accepts any parameter.

Return Value: This function returns an integer value containing the current image size.

Below programs illustrate the Imagick::getImageSize() function in PHP:

Program 1:




<?php
  
// Create a new imagick object
$imagick = new Imagick(
  
// Get the Image Size
$size = $imagick->getImageSize();
echo 'Image size is '. $size . ' bytes.';
?>


Output:

Image size is 45435 bytes.

Program 2:




<?php
  
// Create a new imagick object
$imagick = new Imagick(
  
// Get the Image Size
$size = $imagick->getImageSize();
echo 'Image size is '. $size . ' bytes.';
?>


Output:

Image size is 36283 bytes.
