Crafting Code with Purpose: How TechNarts Builds Telecom Software That Lasts by

Updated on: April 24, 2025

Since its founding in 2007, TechNarts has been quietly transforming the way mission-critical software is built and delivered across sectors like healthcare, public infrastructure, and especially telecommunications. At the helm is Taha Yaycı, a visionary leader who believes software should be as adaptable and elegant as it is powerful. In this interview for SafetyDetectives, Taha shares how TechNarts has evolved from building national-scale systems to becoming a trusted partner for Türkiye’s largest telecom operators—and why the company stands by its motto: Technology is an Art.

Can you briefly introduce TechNarts and share how the company has evolved since its founding in 2007?

TechNarts was founded in 2007, at a time when digital transformation was becoming increasingly essential across sectors. From the outset, our goal was to deliver high-value, custom software tailored to complex, mission-critical needs. Rather than pursuing mass-market solutions, we positioned ourselves to solve domain-specific challenges with depth and precision.

In our early years, we developed large-scale public sector systems, including Türkiye’s national pharmaceutical track and trace platform for the Ministry of Health, and secure communication monitoring tools for law enforcement—projects that demanded high levels of reliability and operational sensitivity.

As we gained experience in managing distributed, high-availability systems, we gradually focused our efforts on the telecommunications sector. The scale and complexity of telecom networks aligned closely with our engineering philosophy. Over the past decade, we have developed solutions specifically designed to meet the operational needs of Türkiye’s largest communications service providers. Today, our products are actively used to enhance visibility, automate infrastructure workflows, and strengthen service performance across their networks.

From national public infrastructure to complex telecom ecosystems, TechNarts has evolved into a software company that combines deep technical expertise with long-term industry insight.

What sets TechNarts apart from other software development companies in terms of strategy and customer relationships?

At TechNarts, we don’t approach software development as a process of productizing the same solution across different clients. Our strategy has always been based on a tailor-made approach. We believe that effective software must adapt to the unique structure, operational flow, and goals of each organization—especially in industries like telecommunications, where even slight variations in infrastructure can lead to vastly different challenges.

This philosophy has shaped the way we build our products. STAR Suite, for instance, is our comprehensive OSS platform designed to provide end-to-end visibility and control across network inventory, configuration, fault, performance, and service provisioning. It is modular and scalable, making it adaptable to each operator’s specific environment.

MONICAT serves as our monitoring, alarm, and topology visualization tool. It collects and correlates network-wide events, enabling operators to reduce alarm fatigue and focus on what truly matters in day-to-day operations.

REDKIT offers zero-touch configuration management, automating complex device configurations at scale while reducing human error and ensuring policy compliance.

With INVENTUM, we provide automatic network discovery and reconciliation, allowing teams to maintain an accurate, real-time view of all network assets across different sources.

NUMERUS addresses large-scale IP address management, supporting the allocation and monitoring of millions of IP resources in an efficient and hierarchical structure.

And TART offers real-time and historical traffic analytics, integrating with billing systems to ensure visibility, accuracy, and service-level tracking across customer environments.

Our long-term partnerships with Türkiye’s largest CSPs are a reflection of the trust this approach has built. We are not positioned as vendors, but as strategic collaborators. From initial needs assessment to continuous optimization, we stay involved—adapting our platforms as our clients’ needs evolve, and ensuring the solutions we offer remain relevant in a fast-changing industry.

How does TechNarts tailor its solutions for various sectors, such as telecommunications, healthcare, and fintech?

In recent years, our work has become increasingly focused on the telecommunications sector. As we gained hands-on experience and built long-term collaborations within the industry, we recognized that the scale, pace, and complexity of telecom operations aligned closely with our strengths as a software company.

What distinguishes our approach is the way we adapt to each operator’s unique structure. Even within a single sector like telecom, no two networks are identical. Each organization has its own infrastructure, processes, and operational dynamics. That’s why we avoid rigid frameworks or off-the-shelf products. Instead, we develop modular, scalable solutions that are tailored to real operational needs.

Whether the requirement is network visibility, service assurance, automated configuration, or IP address management, we design systems that integrate naturally into our clients’ environments. For us, customizability is not a layer we add—it’s the foundation of how we build. This approach allows us to deliver solutions that evolve alongside our clients and remain relevant in a fast-changing sector.

Can you explain the significance of TechNarts’ membership in organizations like TM Forum and how it benefits your services?

Our membership in TM Forum plays a key role in aligning our work with internationally recognized standards and ensuring that our solutions remain future-ready. As the telecommunications industry continues to evolve, participating in global initiatives is not only valuable -it is essential for staying relevant and contributing meaningfully to broader technological progress.

At TechNarts, we see this membership as more than symbolic. We are active contributors to the Forum’s ecosystem and have taken part in initiatives such as Open Digital Architecture, Open APIs, and Autonomous Networks. Through these collaborations, we have had the opportunity to shape best practices and exchange insights with industry leaders worldwide.

We have also been recognized through TM Forum’s Catalyst program for our GenAI-driven project work, earning multiple awards for innovation and use of TM Forum assets. Beyond technical collaboration, our involvement has extended into organizational development. Through a company-wide training initiative conducted in partnership with TM Forum, team members from engineering, product, business, and design functions completed a structured learning path across key OSS/BSS disciplines—creating a shared language and mindset across the company.

What does the motto “Technology is an Art” mean to TechNarts, and how does it influence your approach to software development?

At TechNarts, we see technology not merely as a product of engineering, but as a creative discipline that demands attention to context, structure, and purpose. Our motto, “Technology is an Art,” reflects this perspective. To us, building software is not just about solving functional requirements—it is about creating systems that are both technically sound and thoughtfully designed.

In areas like telecommunications, performance, reliability, and scale are fundamental. But they are not the whole picture. Just as important are the usability, clarity, and maintainability of the solutions we deliver. We believe that a well-crafted system should not only work—it should feel coherent, adaptable, and intuitive for the people who operate it.

This mindset informs every stage of our work, from system architecture to user interfaces. Whether we are developing a real-time monitoring platform, an OSS orchestration tool, or an automated configuration system, we aim to achieve a balance between precision and simplicity—between logic and design.

That’s why we approach every project with the same care we would bring to a crafted design—thinking not just about how it works now, but how well it will continue to serve in the future.
