CopyVault enables powerful pasteboard access on jailbroken devices

Normally when you copy or cut items on your iPhone or iPad, you can readily paste those items elsewhere with a couple of taps. Unfortunately, once you copy or cut a new item, previous items are lost until copied or cut again.

CopyVault example screenshots.

With a jailbreak tweak called CopyVault by iOS developer SquidForce, you can enjoy a full-blown pasteboard manager on your iPhone or iPad, which means you can access a running history of previously copied or cut items to paste elsewhere on demand.

CopyVault certainly isn’t the first pasteboard-like jailbreak tweak to be released, but since it’s the newest, it’s getting today’s spotlight. With full support for iOS & iPadOS 14, 15, and 16, including the likes of modern rootless jailbreaks, CopyVault gives you everything you could need. The Serotonin “semi-jailbreak,” however, is not supported.

Right off the bat, we should mention that CopyVault supports more than just text; you can also view previous copied or cut images, links, and other types of material that you can paste into other interfaces.

As you can tell from the screenshot examples above, CopyVault supports searching your pasteboard for specific items, archiving and adding notes to items, adjusting the window height to suit your needs, triggering the interface using a plethora of different actions, and works nicely with other jailbreaks tweaks.

Once summoned by way of a gesture of your choice, you can search your pasteboard for whatever it is you’re looking for and then you can apply it to whatever interface you might be working in. Designed for the multitaskers who are trying to stay productive, CopyVault keeps all your recently copied or cut items accessible on demand.

As for what jailbreak tweaks CopyVault supports, the developer cited compatibility with popular add-ons like SquidGesture, DockX, and Hammer It, just to name a few.

If you’re interested in giving CopyVault a try, then you can purchase it for $4.99 from the Havoc repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 14, 15, and 16 devices.

How will you be using the CopyVault jailbreak tweak? Let us know in the comments section down below.
