Motorola has announced the G57 Power, a mid-range phone with the right specs to appeal to the budget-conscious Android phone fan.
The company is on a roll this week, having also debuted the Galaxy S25 Edge-worrying Motorola Edge 70, but you’ll pay a lot less for the G57 Power.
Solid specs, big battery
The Motorola G57 Power gets its name from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6S Gen 4 processor, making it one of the first phones to use the chip, and the whopping 7,000mAh battery.
Phones with such massive capacity batteries are highly sought after at the moment, with the OnePlus 15 capturing headlines with its 7,300mAh battery. But as you’ll find out, the G57 Power’s price is much lower than we expect the OnePlus 15 to cost.
On the front is a 120Hz 6.72-inch LCD screen, set inside a body with an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, and with MIL-STD-810H toughness certification. The big battery does mean the phone weighs in at 210 grams and is 8.6mm thick though.
There are two cameras on the back, with the 50-megapixel main camera joined by an 8MP wide-angle camera. Another 8MP camera on the front completes the set.
What else? You get 30W wired charging, an FM radio, NFC, stereo speakers, and a choice of four Pantone colors to choose from, called Corsair, Regatta, Pink Lemonade, and Fluidity.
Software and availability
The Motorola G57 Power comes with Android 16 installed, but Motorola hasn’t said how many updates the phone will get. Android Police has asked the company for clarification and will update here when we know more.
You’ll be able to buy the Motorola G57 Power in the U.K., Europe, Latin America, and other regions from November 5 for £230, which is about $300.
The G57 Power will also be joined by a standard Motorola G57, which has the same processor but a smaller capacity 5,200mAh battery. The price and availability has not been released for it at the time of writing.
