Fabric.js Textbox cornerStrokeColor Property

In this article, we are going to see how to set the stroke color of controlling corners of canvas Textbox using Fabric.js. The Textbox in Fabric.js is movable and can be stretched according to requirements. Further, the Textbox can be customized when it comes to initial stroke color, fill color, stroke width, or radius.

To make it possible, we are going to use a JavaScript library called Fabric.js. After importing the library using CDN, we will create a canvas block in the body tag that will contain our Textbox. After this, we will initialize instances of Canvas and Textbox provided by Fabric.js, set the stroke color of controlling corners using cornerStrokeColor property, and make the corner visible using transparentCorner property. The Textbox is then rendered on the Canvas as given in the below example.

Syntax:

fabric.Textbox('text', {
    cornerStrokeColor: string
});

Parameters: This property accepts a single parameter as mentioned above and described below:

  • cornerStrokeColor: It specifies the stroke color of the controlling corners.

Example: This example uses Fabric.js to set stroke color of controlling corners of the Textbox as given below. You have to click on the object to see the stroke color of the controlling corners.
