Twitter is a popular social network where users share messages called tweets. Twitter allows us to mine the data of any user using Twitter API or Tweepy. The data will be tweets extracted from the user. The first thing to do is get the consumer key, consumer secret, access key and access secret from twitter developer available easily for each user. These keys will help the API for authentication.
retweets()
The API.retweets()
method of the API
class in Tweepy module is used to return a list of retweets of a tweet.
Syntax : API.retweets(parameters)
Parameters :
- id : The ID of the tweet which has to be retweeted.
- count : The number of retweets to be retrieved.
Returns : a list of objects of the class Status
Example 1 : List of users who retweeted the following tweet :

method with count parameter to only fetch a certain number of retweets. Print the screen names of only 3 retweeters of the following tweet :
