The XinaA15 jailbreak made a comeback this past weekend after being updated to version 2.0 and picking up a new jailbreak method heavily inspired by Linus Henze’s Fugu15 rootful jailbreak for developers.
Despite the rush of news this week regarding that and the recent release of TrollStore 2, it would have been easy to miss a single post shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday by project lead developer Zhu Xinlang (@xina520) that appeared to contain an updated build of the jailbreak tool.
From what we can gather, the updated build v2.0.13 contains bug fixes and improvements. The full change log for the latest XinaA15 v2 jailbreak is as follows:
– Fix mobile directory permission issue
– No longer need to download img4 files for the first time
– Add delayed spring for A14 black screen users (temporarily processed)
If you’re already using the new XinaA15 v2 jailbreak, then we would strongly advise updating to the latest release at your earliest convenience to take full advantage of the latest bug fixes and improvements. Prospective users should also make use of the latest version, as it appears to contain improvements for first time users as well.
If you already have a previous version of XinaA15 v2 installed, then you can simply overwrite your existing installation of the tool with TrollStore. Those who don’t already have it can follow our step-by-step tutorial below to get it installed and set up for the first time:
Please note that despite being built using Henze’s rootful version of the Fugu15 jailbreak, XinaA15 v2 is a rootlessjailbreak. Having said that, it works better with most modern jailbreak tweaks.
XinaA15 v2 also lets users have Sileo as their package manager app alongside Saily and utilizes libhooker for tweak injection as opposed to ElleKit like Dopamine uses.
