It’s a pain to have something go missing. But luckily, smart tags and tracking tech make it easier than ever to find an item you might have misplaced. And if you’re someone that uses Android, you’ll know that Google’s Find Hub is an essential part of that experience.

We’ve seen Google bring updates to Find Hub recently, potentially increasing how useful the feature can be. And although it comes as a bit of a surprise, it looks like Google is making the Find Hub app available for Pixel Watches as well.

A nice surprise

The news comes from AssembleDebug on X, shedding light that the new app is available. The account also shared an image, giving us a look at what to expect. For the most part, there’s nothing too complex here, with the Find Hub providing users with an easy way to access device locations.

9to5Google provides more information about the options available to users, highlighting that the app will start in the “My devices” section, providing a list of devices that are connected to the same account. You can choose any device in the list in order to get more details about the product’s location.

You’ll also be able to see the device’s current battery level as well. As far as options, you’ll be able to activate a sound, get directions to the product, wipe the device, and secure it. For the most part, it’s exactly what you’d expect with Find Hub on Wear OS. But, being able to access Find Hub from another connected device could be very convenient.

Only on Pixel for now

For the time being, this is only going to be available for compatible Pixel Watches. However, Android Authority has confirmed that the app can be sideloaded on other devices. This could mean that it could be made available on compatible Wear OS devices in the near future.

If you want to download the app for your Pixel Watch, you can head to the Google Play Store to get it. And if you have a compatible wearable and have yet to get the Wear OS 6 update, we recommend you download if it’s available for your device.
