If you’re a jailbreaker who’s looking for the next exciting mod to your iPhone’s Lock Screen, then we’d recommend taking a quick look at a newly released jailbreak tweak called Waktos 2 by iOS developer alimaulana, which appears to be the latest take on the once popular Waktos tweak released just over three years ago.
Waktos 2 allows jailbreakers to achieve an Android-inspired Lock Screen style on their iPhone, and it’s highly customizable in terms of appearance. According to the developer, users can now customize their Lock Screen directly from the Lock Screen or from Notification Center in a sleek new editing interface, as depicted in the screenshot examples.
With a variety of different Lock Screen clock options to choose from, you can get just the right aesthetic for your device. To enter the customization interface, you need only double-tap on the Lock Screen. From there, you will find different options that you can mess around with, including the following:
- Customizing Lock Screen clock colors
- Choosing from six Lock Screen clock styles
- Adjusting the size of the Lock Screen clock
- Changing the position of the Lock Screen clock
- Configuring the alpha level of the Lock Screen clock
- And more…
In terms of colors, it appears that you can choose from wallpaper-inspired colors or select manual colors of your choosing. Waktos 2 recommends various color shades and gradients and lets you override them with custom alpha levels.
In terms of sizes, you can choose a dynamic option that changes automatically depending on the amount of Lock Screen content you have, such as notification banners, or you can choose small so that it stays relatively out of the way regardless.
And with respect to position, there are X and Y sliders that let you move the Lock Screen clock around until you’re satisfied with where it sits.
If you’re interested in giving Waktos 2 a try, then you can purchase it for $1.99 from the Havoc repository via your favorite package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS 15 devices and requires the Cephei Tweak Support dependency to be used.
