Earlier this year, Samsung promised that its Galaxy S25-based Fan Edition would grace the big stage sooner than normally expected. For reference, the South Korean tech giant’s Fan Edition smartphones normally come out in October. Today is September 4th, and lo and behold, the Galaxy S25 FE is already available to order.

This time around, there’s no lengthy pre-order period to secure the device. Instead, the device is directly available to order now, with most major US deliveries expected around Monday, September 8th.

If you’re in the US and actually eyeing the new Fan Edition device, there’s something you might want to know: the best version of the S25 FE isn’t available in the US.

The device starts at $650 in the US for the base 128GB version, and goes up to $710 for the 256GB storage variant. The tech giant is, however, keeping its top-tier 512GB model exclusive to select markets in Europe, as rightly pointed out by SamMobile.

Likely a strategic move

In the UK, a 512GB S25 FE costs £799. In Eurozone countries, like Italy, for example, the top-end storage variant costs €949. Those translate to roughly $1,070 and $1,100 in USD, respectively. It’s likely that pricing the mid-ranger around the $1,000 mark would have made it difficult for the storage variant to gain traction in the US.

For a similar cost, users can easily pick up true flagships like the S25+, the S25 Ultra, and even the new Pixel 10 Pro or Pro XL. Samsung doesn’t want its mid-ranger to clash with the pricing of its flagships, which could also very well be a strategic decision behind keeping the 512GB variant out of the US market

The release pattern follows the S24 FE, which, too, offered a 512GB storage variant that was not available to purchase in the US.
