Underscore.js _.isOdd() Method

The _.isOdd() method checks whether the given value is Odd or not, correspondingly returning a boolean value.

_.isOdd( value );

Parameters:

  • value: Given value to be checked for odd value.

Return Value: This method returns a Boolean value(Returns true if the given value is odd, else false).

// Checking

Example 2:

Javascript

// Defining underscore contrib variable
var _ = require('underscore-contrib');

// Checking
console.log("The Value is Odd : " + _.isOdd(42));

Output:

The Value is Odd : false

Example 3: For value: 0, this method returns false.

Javascript

// Defining underscore contrib variable
var _ = require('underscore-contrib');

// Checking
console.log("The Value is Odd : " + _.isOdd(0));

Output:

The Value is Odd : false

Example 4: For non-integer values, this method returns false.
