This tweak lets Fugu15 Max users hide their handset’s Home Bar

On notched devices that lack a physical Home Button, users instead rely on a software-based Home Bar at the bottom of the display to leave apps and multitask.

While the gestures involving the Home Bar are certainly more appropriate for modern iPhones when compared to an antiquated Home Button, some people have a tendency to disapprove of its aesthetics, which is why jailbreak tweaks to hide the Home Bar exist.

But whether you’re testing the Fugu15 Max developer beta jailbreak, or preparing for an official public release at some point in the future, you might be happy to know that iOS developer iGerman has released a free jailbreak tweak called YetAnotherHomeBarHider.

YetAnotherHomeBarHider is designed to hide the Home Bar specifically on Fugu15 Max devices. This means that while a lot of other jailbreak tweaks with similar functionality already exist, this is the first one designed to work with the rootless dynamic on iOS & iPadOS 15.0-15.4.1.

While the Home Bar becomes hidden, it’s worth noting that users can still use the same gestures they always have to close apps and multitask.

We should also mention that Fugu15 Max is currently only intended for developers. When the jailbreak comes out of beta, it will receive a unique new name and be widely available to the public. When this happens, YetAnotherHomeBarHider could be a good tweak to add to your rootless arsenal.

If you’re interested in giving YetAnotherHomeBarHider a try, then you can download the tweak for free from iGerman’s personal repository via your favorite package manager app.

Those not already using iGerman’s repository can add it to their package manager app of choice by using the URL provided below:
