The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is the middle offering in the company’s lineup. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset powers it, and it has 12GB of RAM, and either 256 or 512GB of storage. Samsung didn’t increase the battery size for 2025, leaving it at 4,900mAh, although a more efficient chipset has resulted in better battery life. It’s thin and lightweight, at just 7.3mm and 190g, respectively.Â
I’m sure there are plenty of excellent deals on Prime Day, but I may have found the best one. During Amazon Prime Day from Tuesday, July 8th to Friday, July 11th, you can pick up a Samsung Galaxy S25+ for only $700 — a 30% discount from MSRP and an all-time low price. I’ve had my misgivings about the Samsung S25 lineup in 2025, but a discount of this magnitude goes a long way to making me a believer.
The Galaxy S25+ is an outstanding flagship phone with ample power and excellent software. It’s challenging to find deep discounts on a current flagship phone that’s unlocked, but Amazon Prime Day does all the heavy lifting for you. If you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to pick up a top-tier flagship at a fantastic price, this Amazon Prime Day Galaxy S25+ deal is for you.
Why you should buy a Samsung Galaxy S25+
If I had to pick a device in Samsung’s flagship lineup this year to buy, it would be the Galaxy S25+. It makes the most sense to the majority of buyers, especially if you don’t care about the S pen or are particularly excited about a slightly better camera system. There’s no need to pay $300 more if you don’t need to, and the Galaxy S25+ still gives you all the power and performance you’d expect from a flagship.
The Galaxy S25+ has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED QHD+ panel that refreshes at 120Hz. It’s one of the best displays you can buy on a flagship phone, and it’s incredible to think you can pick one up on Prime Day for only $700.
I can’t say enough about the Snapdragon 8 Elite. I was initially concerned about power efficiency, but those fears quickly evaporated. It’s excellent — plain and simple. You’ll be able to do anything and everything you want on a smartphone for years to come, enjoying fantastic battery life while you do so.
One UI 7 is running smoothly, and Samsung promises seven years of software support for the Galaxy S25+. It’s Samsung’s current flagship device, and it’s an absolute steal on Prime Day for only $700.
