The Pixel Watch 3 is a superb Wear OS smartwatch. Not only do you get a sleek design, but the features it packs are also quite compelling as well. Now, the newly released Pixel Watch 4 brings much of the same experience, but does have some new hardware that makes it a bit more attractive, like a brighter screen and longer battery life.
But if you’re someone that’s casually into smartwatches, or maybe it’s your first time looking to buy one, we think the Pixel Watch 3 is going to provide better value, especially at its newly discounted price that drops it down to just $200. Like I said before, you get pretty much the same experience, so why not give the Pixel 3 a shot?
At this price, you can’t go wrong
What you need to know about this Pixel Watch 3 is that it’s the 45mm model, which means a larger screen, coming in at 1.4 inches. The screen delivers vibrant colors, deep black levels, and is also super-bright, reaching up to 2,000 nits, which means it’ll look good even under the sunniest conditions.
This particular model doesn’t support LTE, which means you’ll need to keep it connected using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. For most people, this isn’t going to be a problem. You just need to keep it connected to your phone, and you’ll be able to get updates to the wrist without any issues.
There are a range of sensors on the watch that allow you to track your heart rate, physical activities, sleep, and even stress levels. The battery life is also pretty good too, lasting up to 24 hours with regular use, and can reach even more if you activate battery-saver mode.
The watch runs smoothly, running the latest version of Wear OS. Plus, you get access to the best apps for a wearable thanks to the Google Play Store. Google has promised three years of support on the watch, which means it will get at least two more years of updates.
This is important because each update will bring the latest features of Wear OS to the watch, keeping it fresh. Naturally, the watch will still work even though it doesn’t get any more updates, so you’ll still get plenty of use out of this watch even after the last update lands.
Again, the Pixel Watch 3 at this price is a no-brainer if you’re looking to buy a new smartwatch. You won’t find anything better at this price. So, be sure to get it at this price while you still can.
