We’re nearing the end of the year, which means it’s almost time for Samsung’s new flagship phones. Reports suggest Samsung might delay the release of the Galaxy S26 series to February 2025 due to the Galaxy S26 Plus replacing the Galaxy S26 Edge late in development. Still, leaks about Samsung’s next flagships haven’t slowed down.

A new leak from reliable Samsung leaker @UniverseIce on X has showcased some screen protectors for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. The image shows protectors for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Leaks suggest ergonomic tweaks for Galaxy S26 Ultra

The screen protectors for the Galaxy S26 and S26+ aren’t much different from the current Galaxy S25 and S25+, but the image does confirm some details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The corners of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s screen protector appear rounder compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this, though. A previous leak suggested Samsung would move to a curvier design for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and this new image seems to confirm it. Samsung is finally dropping the boxier look of the Ultra series, which should make the phone easier to hold, more ergonomic, and even more pocketable.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is already a large device, so this change should help improve usability. However, reports also suggest the S26 Ultra will be slightly taller and wider, possibly balancing out the new rounded design.

Still, it’s a welcome shift, especially since most Android phones, including the OnePlus 13, Google Pixel 10 series, and iPhones, have embraced softer corners for years.

The leak also confirms that all three Galaxy S26 models will feature flat displays, with Samsung not returning to curved edges. This isn’t surprising, as the company moved away from curved screens long ago, but it’s good to have confirmation.

Of course, a lot could change before the Galaxy S26 series goes official next month, but we’re finally starting to see what the lineup will offer when it launches next year, including a refined design, a new (and private) display panel and minor yet important camera upgrades.
