Earlier today, Google got caught leaving the official Pixel Watch 4 renders out in the open on its servers for an inquisitive code reviewer to discover and publish. Not to be outdone, Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds 3 FE just went live — on the Samsung Panama website, and nowhere else, with a lack of specifications, details, and working image slides that indicates it’s almost certainly a big mistake.

With a little sleuthing (OK, I just clicked on the color selector a few times), we were able to procure the official renders of both the gray and black versions (Source: Samsung).

There’s no way this was intentional

Google: “What do you mean, leaked renders?” Samsung: “Hold my beer.”

Behold, in all their monochrome glory, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE. We know what they look like, what they cost ($129 USD in Panama), what colors they come in, and that they sport a stem/blade-style build (like the Galaxy Buds Pro) with apparently silicone ear tips. That’s all we know. The buy page that’s all-but-guaranteed unfinished doesn’t contain a single specification or shred of marketing materials. For that matter, the images don’t even load correctly without a little prodding.

Combined with Samsung’s complete lack of any announcement, there’s no chance this page was meant to go live just yet. Nonetheless, you can apparently add them to your cart, purchase them, and expect them to be shipped on Friday.

It’s hard to speculate given the lack of information (and somewhat pointless, as we’ll surely hear more between now and the end of the week), but we expect the Buds 3 FE to deliver comparable sound quality to their costly relatives, with a mildly stripped-down feature set, and maybe slightly less premium materials. Stay tuned, because it’ll be interesting to see which obscure markets Samsung’s midrange earbuds trickle out in next.
