Samsung absolutely nailed it this year with its foldable phones, easily outdoing the competition and reclaiming the title of the best foldable phones available in the US. And while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is going to be on a lot of people’s radars this holiday shopping season, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also one to consider, especially if you can manage to get it at a discount.

We won’t beat around the bush here, it’s a hefty investment, and we wouldn’t recommend anyone spending $2,000 on it. But if you can manage to score some savings on it, like this $300 discount that comes direct from Samsung, then it becomes a little more attainable and alluring. There’s also some additional trade-in promotions as well, if you have an older phone, which can knock down the price even more.

This might make it worth buying

But if you’re looking at just pure discounts, Samsung’s offering a pretty good price on the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which drops it down to $1,700. This is $300 off the usual price of the base model that comes with 256GB of internal storage. You’ll want to carefully consider what your needs are here, because there aren’t any microSD card slots on these phones to save you later on.

It packs the latest chip from Qualcomm, and also delivers when it comes to the software experience. And you know it’s going to just get better and better, considering that Samsung is promising seven years of updates for the phone. The cameras are pretty good, with Samsung making some excellent improvements, like upgrading the primary sensor to 200MP.

Samsung really hit this one out of the park, with a sleek design and impressively thin profile. It’s pretty much everything you’d want from a foldable phone in 2025. And while the $300 discount is sweet, only you can decide whether this is something you really need in your life. But grab it soon because this discount won’t be around for long.
