A solid digital watch with health and tracking features. It’s the best of both worlds, now at a price that can’t be ignored.

Sometimes you just want to have a timepiece on your wrist that isn’t going to bombard with notifications from your phone. Still, it would be nice to have all the health and fitness tracking features, which is where this Casio watch comes in, delivering the best of both worlds.

The Casio G-Shock Move has a familiar look and a durable design, but it also packs in solar charging and a range of sensors that can track your health and fitness metrics. Plus, there’s an app that will help you understand all the data. You can now grab the Casio G-Shock Move for $107 off, which is the lowest price we’ve seen this year.

A classic with some welcome upgrades

Casio’s G-Shock line has been around for decades, and it’s still popular to this day, offering a range of different styles, sizes, and options. Now, what makes the G-Shock Move so great is that you get all the traditional perks that come with a standard G-Shock watch, but with additional features for health and fitness tracking.

These features go beyond the standard step tracking that some digital watches offer, thanks to the watch’s heart rate sensor. This allows you to track a number of physical activities with fantastic accuracy, with modes for walks, runs, and gym workouts. There’s even an interval timer that will help you get those gains that you’ve been looking for.

And while you might think that the software inside might be too basic, it’s actually quite efficient, offering insights into the energy spent throughout the day, tracking your cardio load, while also showing your rejuvenation over time as well. It can also provide blood oxygen measurements, heart rate, and more.

As mentioned before, there’s also an app that accompanies this watch, which will allow you to dive into the details. And if you pair this with a phone, you’ll be able to log your runs using GPS as well. Now there is solar charging available, but it won’t be enough to keep the watch charged indefinitely. Naturally, you’ll get excellent durability with this watch, along with up to 200 meters water resistance.

As far as battery life, well, there are a lot of numbers being thrown out by Casio, but at its minimum it will last around 14 hours, and at its maximum you’re looking at 23 months. If we had to take a guess, for most people, it should last at least a week without needing a charge. It just depends on how you choose to use the watch. The good news is that it is rechargeable, so when you do run out, you can always charge it up.
