It wasn’t that long ago when T-Mobile officially decided to drop its old app in favor of something new. And now, we’re seeing the carrier release its biggest update for the T-Life app since its release, ushering in new and welcome features (via Android Authority). The wireless carrier states that its latest changes come from listening to customer feedback.

A little AI boost

Perhaps the biggest change to the app is the introduction of an AI assistant. Yes, it’s perfectly fine to roll your eyes here, but you’ll now be able to have a fluid conversation with the T-Life app in order to get things done faster and easier. So give it a try. Who knows, it might even be able to find you a plan that’ll save you money.

If you’re not someone that’s into having a conversation with AI, that’s fine. T-Mobile’s latest update also brings a revamped menu with “intuitive self-service tools, visual bill explanations and real-time updates.” So you can now tap your way through menus with ease in order to access the tools that are vital to you.

And if you need help, you can always connect through the app with a Customer Care team member. The T-Life app will now even work with T-Satellite coverage, which means you can even make changes to your plan in the most remote locations. T-Mobile is removing a pain point from its shopping experience by allowing users to make last-minute changes while the product is in their cart.

It’s not a huge addition, but not having to start the complete purchase process over just because you want a different color or storage size of the same phone is going to be a big deal for those looking to check out quickly. The brand is also integrating its T-Mobile Home Internet setup and controls into T-Life, truly making it a one-stop shop for home internet customers.

And the final addition, T-Life will now be able to handle devices that need to be recycled. It doesn’t really shed light on the complete process, but we imagine that the app does all the heavy lifting, while you just ship it out or drop it off at your local T-Mobile store. For the most part, that’s a lot of updates to the app ahead of the holiday season. But we’re sure customers will be able to put most of these new additions to good use.
