Permutation.rmul() : rmul() is a sympy Python library function that returns the product of the permutation.
Syntax : sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.rmul()
Return : product of the permutation.
Code #1 : rmul() Example
# Python code explaining # SymPy.Permutation.rmul() # importing SymPy libraries from sympy.combinatorics.partitions import Partition from sympy.combinatorics.permutations import Permutation # Using from sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.rmul() method # creating Permutation a = Permutation([[ 2 , 0 ], [ 3 , 1 ]]) b = Permutation([ 1 , 3 , 5 , 4 , 2 , 0 ]) print ( "Permutation a - rmul form : " , a.rmul(b)) print ( "Permutation b - rmul form : " , b.rmul(a)) |
Output :
Permutation a – rmul form : (0 1 3 4 2 5)
Permutation b – rmul form : (0 2)(1 3)
Code #2 : rmul() Example – 2D Permutation
# Python code explaining # SymPy.Permutation.rmul() # importing SymPy libraries from sympy.combinatorics.partitions import Partition from sympy.combinatorics.permutations import Permutation # Using from # sympy.combinatorics.permutations.Permutation.rmul() method # creating Permutation a = Permutation([[ 2 , 4 , 0 ], [ 3 , 1 , 2 ], [ 1 , 5 , 6 ]]) print ( "Permutation a - rmul form : " , a.rmul(a)) |
Output :
Permutation a – rmul form : (0 3 5 6 1 2 4)
