Lots of iPhone and iPad users take advantage of the Shortcuts app to help automate certain processes that would otherwise be tedious to perform manually time and time again, and that includes jailbreakers.
Fortunately for jailbreakers who take advantage of the Shortcuts app, iOS developer zachary7829 is out with yet another Shortcuts-based jailbreak tweak dubbed StopShortcutsUntitledPrompt that might be of use for some users.
According to a post shared to /r/jailbreak early Monday morning, zachary7829 was getting tired of the Shortcuts app prompting him to name untitled Shortcuts before they were even finished, as he prefers to name them after the fact.
An example of the Shortcuts app prompting for a name is shown above, and that’s exactly the pop-up that StopShortcutsUntitledPrompt was created to put a stop to.
Despite being a particularly niche issue, zachary7829 went ahead and published the tweak publicly for anyone who feels the same way as him about preferring to wait until the Shortcut is finished and fully implemented before deciding on a name for it.
Those interested in downloading StopShortcutsUntitledPrompt can do so for free from zachary7829’s personal repository via any package manager app. The tweak supports jailbroken iOS & iPadOS 13 and 14 devices.
