Mid-March in Oregon
We won’t be playing the beloved game. But it will be a great opportunity to learn and network with other SQL Server professionals! I hope you can join me and my colleague Michael Franko for a three-stop speaking tour throughout Oregon. The user group leaders in Eugene, Salem, and Portland have all graciously offered to host a presentation in sequential sessions. Each event is hosted and managed separately, so be sure to follow the hyperlink to register:
- Mar 13, 6:30 PM, Eugene, OR
Ten Query Tuning Techniques Every SQL Programmer Should Know - Mar 14, 11:30 AM, Salem, OR
End-to-End Troubleshooting for SQL Server - Mar 14, 6:00 PM, Portland, OR
Top 10 Admin Mistakes on SQL Server
If you can attend one or multiple sessions I’d be so happy to see you there. Feel free to pass this along to your colleagues and otherwise spread the word. I’d love to fill up the room. Oh, and please be sure to register if you can make it. That way we’ll have enough food for everyone.
SQLSaturday #700 : Colorado Springs
I’m excited to be back in the gorgeous city of Colorado Springs for SQLSaturday #700! The date is set: March 24, 2018. As in the past three years, the organizers have partnered with Colorado Technical University to bring you a great SQLSaturday of learning and community. Lots of great sessions and speakers!
Logistically, please be aware that they will not be serving lunch this year. Instead, there’s a 90-minute lunch break to network and get food from any of the nearby restaurants, some local food trucks coming to CTU, or to brown bag your own lunch from home. In addition, there are some great pre-conference sessions, including my own:
- Mar 23, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
50 Things All SQL Developers Need to Know
If you’d like to grow stronger in the Force (of SQL coding), then join me for this information-loaded seminar! You’ll also get tons of additional T-SQL scripts that I use for troubleshooting and performance tuning.
