Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is nearly half off, making it the perfect time to upgrade

When Samsung reintroduced the rotating bezel to its smartwatch lineup with the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, it wasn’t quite what people had hoped for. Despite it being a pretty good product, the design had people on both sides of the fence.

However, there is a small catch with this model, as it only comes with a 90-day warranty from Woot. While you still get some coverage if the product has some issues in the future, there’s quite a big difference when it comes to the standard warranty period.

If you purchase this model from a traditional retailer, you can expect a one-year warranty. However, there are also retailers out there, like Amazon, that are offering a two-year warranty on the product without any additional charges.

The hardware is solid

When it comes to the hardware, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic comes in just one size at 46mm and features a large 1.34-inch AMOLED screen. In addition, it’s powered by a Samsung Exynos W1000 chip paired with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The watch also comes with a pretty large battery, capable of keeping it powered for up to two days.

The watch features a variety of sensors that can track your health and fitness metrics, providing a detailed report of how your body moves and reacts throughout the day. Although the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic delivers with its solid hardware and software, the physical rotating bezel is a small highlight that makes navigating menus a lot easier.

For the most part, this watch is a solid offering from Samsung that is now even better thanks to a huge discount from Woot. Again, you will not get a full warranty with this model, but the discount might be worth it.
