The big-screen flagships go head-to-head
Many customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S25 report receiving a notification about their order being picked up by UPS or another courier partner (via Reddit, 2). For most, the estimated delivery date is around January 30th, a few days ahead of Samsung’s promised timeline. So, if you were able to get your S25 order in early, you might want to check its shipment status.
Besides the US, Galaxy S25 customers in the UK and Middle East report their shipment status changing to being shipped for a late January delivery. Samsung is known for shipping its flagship devices to pre-order customers ahead of schedule, so this behavior is not unusual for the company.
Samsung is still accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S25. And while you may not get your phone early now, pre-ordering will get you the best trade-in deals and other perks.
Galaxy S25 gets many things right but stumbles in a few areas
Despite modest upgrades, early numbers indicate strong demand for Samsung’s newest flagships. In Korea, the Galaxy S25 Ultra reportedly accounts for nearly 60-70% of the total pre-orders, much higher than the base and Plus variants.
Customers seem to be interested in the Ultra model in spite of the S Pen being stripped down of some handy features due to the missing Bluetooth connectivity. Hardcore Galaxy fans have already started a petition imploring the company to bring back the Bluetooth S Pen on its 2026 flagship phone.
If you can look past some of the Galaxy S25’s shortcomings, Samsung’s newest phones should deliver an experience that hardly any other Android phone can rival. The deep Galaxy AI and Gemini integration ensures the Galaxy S25 delivers an AI experience similar to Google’s Pixel 9.
