Python – cmath.atanh() function

cMath module contains a number of functions which is used for mathematical operations for complex numbers. The cmath.atanh() function returns the inverse hyperbolic arctangent value of a complex number. The value passed in this function can be int, float, and complex numbers.

Syntax: cmath.atanh(x)

Parameter:This method accepts only single parameters.

  • x :This parameter is the value to be passed to atanh()

Returns:This function returns the inverse hyperbolic arctangent value of a  complex number.

Below examples illustrate the use of above function:

Example #1 : In this example we can see that by using cmath.atanh() method, we are able to get the values of inverse hyperbolic arctangent by passing any value to it.
