While Sileo remains the most popular package manger app for modern jailbroken devices by far, alternative package managers do exist that give jailbreakers more options for managing their jailbreak tweaks and other packages.
Zebra is the second most popular, but another called PurePKG by iOS developer Lrdsnow is growing in popularity. Just today, Lrdsnow announced in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) that PurePKG v2.0.2 had been released.
From what we can gather, PurePKG v2.0.2 is a minor bug fix update intended to improve usability of the app. The full change log, per the GitHub page, can be found below:
– Fixed getting packages (due to the developer accidentally removing version checks)
– Fixed dist repos
Existing PurePKG users are urged to upgrade to the latest version of the package manager app to ensure the most bug-free user experience possible as of right now. Given how young PurePKG is, there are bound to be bugs, and keeping up with updates can help mitigate this.
New or prospective users who are considering giving PurePKG a try for the first time can download it from Lrdsnow’s dedicated repository. If you aren’t already using it, then you can add it to your existing package manager app by using the URL provided below:

PurePKG is essentially a new wrapper for the Sileo package manager app. It’s intended to do all of the same things, but with a different user interface that may feel familiar if you’ve ever used Lrdsnow’s PureKFD package manager app for non-jailbroken KFD exploit-vulnerable devices before.
You can learn more about PurePKG via the project’s GitHub page.
