Samsung’s latest Fan Edition device is on the way, and it’s coming sooner than we had previously expected!

For those unaware, the two Fan Edition predecessors, the S24 FE and S23 FE, were both released in the month of October. The S25 FE could expedite that timeline by a month, as confirmed by Samsung itself, potentially coming late in August or early September.

Apart from the release timeline, we already know a lot more about the device, including the fact it’ll follow Samsung’s recent trend of cutting down on the footprint, and potentially offer faster charging too.

Now, thanks to an early listing of the device going live on British supermarket chain Tesco’s website (as pointed out by WinFuture), there’s almost nothing left to the imagination, at least when it comes to the device’s design.

The listing, which seems to have been taken down now, highlighted the device from the front, side, and the back in its Jet Black colorway, alongside confirming some details about the device’s specs. From the looks of it, the device is shaping up to be a perfect alternative for someone looking for an S25+-like device at a cheaper price point, offering a balance between premium features and affordability.

For starters, the S25 FE appears to boast slimmer bezels than its predecessor. Although it will retain a 6.7-inch display, it will reportedly offer an 89.2 percent screen-to-body ratio (up from 88 percent), which is evident in the leaked images. Other than that, the device looks almost identical to its predecessor, complete with a triple rear camera setup and a punch hole shooter at the front.

Under the display, however, is where S25 FE buyers will likely have to make some compromises. The device will reportedly run on a 4nm Exynos 2400e chipset, which should be enough for regular use, but it’s certain to underdeliver when it comes to intensive gaming or advanced AI-related tasks.

The device is also set to retain its predecessor’s storage and RAM configurations, coming in at 8GB RAM for 128 and 256GB storage models.

We might actually get a bigger battery

Elsewhere, the device was previously reported to run on a 4,500mAh cell. If the leaked Tesco listing is to be believed, that early rumor won’t turn out to be true, and the S25 FE will instead of a 200mAh battery boost with a 4,900mAh cell. Charging the bigger battery will reportedly be quicker too, with Samsung finally bringing its flagship 45W wired charging to the Fan Edition device.

Of course, these are all specs based on the premature listing, so they have a high chance of being accurate. Still, though, we’d suggest you take them with a grain of salt until Samsung makes an official announcement.

The device will reportedly come in at €679, which, as of today’s exchange rate, is roughly $790, suggesting that the device could be priced significantly higher than its predecessor.

The Galaxy S24 Fan Edition brings the Galaxy S24 experience at a more affordable price point. It packs everything you can ask for in a mid-ranger, including a 6.7-inch display, all-day battery life, and competent cameras. The phone launched always felt expensive at its original MSRP, but a $150 discount makes it a lot more tempting.
