Gaming on Android is quite good, with plenty of high-quality games being made available through the Google Play Store. Of course, the fun doesn’t stop there, as you can even take things a step further with access to your favorite AAA titles from PC through game streaming services as well.

With that said, emulation is also an option as well, although not many really venture down that road since it’s thought to be relatively complicated. However, with the GameSir GameHub app, it can be relatively straightforward, allowing you to play your existing PC games without an internet connection or streaming involved.

PC emulation might actually be good on Pixel

Perhaps the most exciting part about all of this is that the app is optimized for use with devices equipped with Mali chips, meaning that Pixel devices can take full advantage, and provide the best experience available. This bit of news comes from Android Authority, who were able to reach out to GameSir and confirm that Pixel devices are supported.

While the brand didn’t come out and say that the GameSir app was optimized specifically for Pixel, it did share that it has a “collaboration with MediaTek,” which also relies on Mali, which naturally extends support to Google’s Tensor chips as well. Perhaps the only downer here is that specifics weren’t mentioned, meaning it’s unclear how performance will be improved.

For the time being, this is going to be a sweet upgrade for Pixel phone users that want to emulate PC titles on their devices. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see just how powerful this app can be on the upcoming Pixel 10, since there are reports that Google is switching up the chips in these devices with something new.

If you have any interest in the GameHub app and want to give it a try, you’ll need to head to the GameSir website to download it. For the time being, the app is free to use, and supports a wide range of devices like phones and tablets. You get onscreen controls, and there is also support for physical controllers as well.

Or if you’re not really comfortable with what you see, you can always try out some of the other game streaming services, like Amazon Luna, Xbox Cloud Gaming, or Nvidia GeForce Now.
