p5.js | isLoaded() Function

The isLoaded() function is an inbuilt function of p5.sound library that verifies that the loadSound() function performed successfully, if that loadSound was successful then this function will return true else false. That means it returns Boolean value.

Syntax:

isLoaded()

Note: All the sound-related functions only work when the sound library is included in the head section of the index.html file.

Parameters: This function does not accept any parameter.

Below example illustrate the p5.isLoaded() function in JavaScript:

function preload() { 
   
    // Initialize sound 
    sound = loadSound("pfivesound.mp3"); 
   
function setup() { 
           
    //Checking loaded or not
    var load = sound.isLoaded();
    console.log(load);

    sound.play();
