Don’t worry if it gets boring over time. You’ll be able to change the filter and select another, and Spotify will update the playlist accordingly. You can also rely on Spotify to curate everything in the Discover Weekly just as you did previously. In simple words, it gives more power to the users. However, it’s worth remembering that you can select only one filter from the given options.
The ability to tune music recommendations isn’t the only feature Spotify added to Discover Weekly. In addition, the Discover Weekly is also getting a new look with updated cover art (via The Verge). All these changes are now available in the latest version of the Spotify app for both Android and iOS.
