Nugget v6 now available with new features & bug fixes, including preliminary iOS 26 beta support

Over the weekend, Nugget lead developer LeminLimez took to social media platform 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) to share that version 6.0 of the ever-popular Nugget iPhone customization toolkit had been released.

Nugget v5.1.2 released.

Nugget v6.0 includes a handful of not only new features that offer logical outgrowth from the application’s core functionalities, but it also provides users with a bevy of bug fixes and improvements that ensure a smooth user experience.

Citing the project’s GitHub page, Nugget v6.0 includes the following changes:

Features

– Added Templates! Restore to custom files and domains
–
Added Status Bar tweaks: change carrier name and more!
–
Brought back Lock Screen Footnote
–
Reorganized some tweaks into miscellaneous options to make the sidebar less crowded
–
Added support for hiddendot in batter files similar to Cowabunga Lite
–
Example usage: Container/mobile/hiddendotGlobalPreferences.plist
–
Updated Skip Setup for iOS 26
– Added an option for toggling TrustStore restoring
–
Safety improvements to restore handling
–
Support for Ubuntu 20 and newer

Bug Fixes

– Optimized entire tweak backend for faster load/apply times and a smoother applying experience
– Fixed bug where iOS 18.2+ devices would not be selectable
– Fixed Windows path errors with bundle paths (ie TrustStore)
– Fixed device link error on Windows with PosterBoard/Templates
– Fixed preview image heights
– Fixed error message not appearing sometimes/throwing another error
– Fixed restoring of folders where the path is the same, but domain is different

As you might have noticed, this update includes initial support for iOS 26 beta, which is apparently supported in part by Nugget even despite being Apple’s latest firmware. Moreover, it adds support for Ubuntu 20 and newer, which is important given how Nugget began supporting Linux distros in a previous release.

Not only these, but there are new Status Bar tweaks, templates, Lock Screen footnotes, reorganization, and more, combined with various bug fixes ranging from optimizing the tweak backend for faster load and apply times, iOS 28.2 devices being non-selectable, Windows path errors, device link errors, and more.

Nugget doesn’t require a jailbreak to use, but it does allow for customizations that can look and feel akin to jailbreak tweaks to anyone who has ever used a jailbreak before. As a device toolkit that utilizes the SparseRestore exploit and other hacks, it works on iOS version 17.0-18.1.1, with some features supporting only version versions of iOS. The latest release adds preliminary support for iOS 26, such as being able to skip setup.

If you’re not already using Nugget, then be advised that it’s a free download from the package’s GitHub page. It supports Windows, Linux, and macOS machines.
