Samsung is likely gearing up for an Unpacked event in the coming months. Despite the anticipated event getting closer, it isn’t stopping the Galaxy S26 leaks from popping up, and the latest ones share interesting RAM details of the upcoming trio.

Tipster Ice Universe shared on X that the Galaxy S26 series, seemingly slated for an early launch next year, could clock in at 10.7Gbps. While the RAM variants of the trio are still expected to start with the same 12GB of the previous generation, the emphasis here is on the speeds that the Galaxy S26 series could reach.

High-Speed LPDRR5X RAM promises enhanced photography

Ice Universe has further shared that this high-speed RAM will give the S26 additional and notable camera benefits over the S25 Ultra’s 8.5Gbps. Users should notice shorter shutter lags even in night shot capture, better stability and efficiency during 8K video recording, smoother lens switching and continuous zoom, wider dynamic range, and shorter long-exposure wait times.

The increase RAM efficiency should also make for better/faster on-device AI processing for the Galaxy S26 series.

More Samsung Galaxy S26 series’ leaks popping up

The leaks surrounding the Galaxy S26 series are almost overwhelming at this point. Just a couple of days ago, the same leaker, Ice Universe, shared other interesting details of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, including that the front camera’s field of view will be 85°. That means that though it is likely to ship with the same wide-angle lens as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, users will be able to capture more in the frame, which is especially beneficial for group selfies.

In another major leak, we also got to see the alleged Galaxy S26+ leaked renders revealing its possible final design in full. While initial reports have indicated that we wouldn’t see a Plus model at all because it would be replaced by the Galaxy S25 Edge’s successor, it now looks likely that Samsung will release the Galaxy S26 series as a trio.
