Do you take a liking to audio visualizers? If the answer was yes, then you might take a liking to a new TrollStore add-on called Letterpress by iOS developer 82flex, which can apply unique audio visualizer effects to your iPhone’s Dynamic Island or Notch whenever you have media playing on your device.
As you can see in the screenshot examples above, this TrollStore add-on offers a variety of effects to choose from. In the examples from left to right, we can see bokeh balls, a green trace around the Dynamic Island, and even character glyphs raining down from the top of the screen.
As noted by the developer, Letterpress is compatible with iPhones running iOS 15, 16, and 17, and can be installed with TrollStore, which means you don’t even need a jailbreak. It utilizes TrollStore’s floating window technology and various codes from open-source projects like Vortex and DominantColors.
Once installed, Letterpress puts an app on your Home Screen where you can configure several settings to your liking:

- Toggling Letterpress on or off on demand
- Select which apps Letterpress will work for (can be any app on your device)
- Choose a preferred font
- Adjust the font size via a slider
- Adjust the particle size via a slider
- Configure Colors:
- Enable or disable adaptive colors
- Choose a primary color
- Choose a secondary color
- Choose a tertiary color
- Choose a quaternary color
- Reset colors to their defaults
- And more…
We think that the effects not only look cool but further illustrate the capabilities of the TrollStore perma-signing utility. Apps that are installed with it have elevated privileges that allow these kinds of add-ons that App Store apps do not. Even though there’s no jailbreak, certain add-ons like this one can work in this way.
Letterpress is available as a $2.49 purchase from the Havoc repository in your web browser app, and once downloaded, it can be perma-signed with your TrollStore app on iOS 15, 16, or 17.0.
