Samsung is ready to unveil its first Fan Edition foldable. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is expected to be shown off at the South Korean tech giant’s reported Unpacked event next month, though Samsung seems to have another FE device in the pipeline.

The Galaxy S25 FE isn’t expected until late Q3 or early Q4, but whispers about it have been prevalent since April at the very least.

Early leaks and rumors suggest that the device might disappoint in the chip department by using last year’s Exynos 2400e, but impress in the camera department by using a 12MP selfie shooter (up from 10MP on the S24 FE).

Now, thanks to credible industry leaker @OnLeaks on X (Twitter), via SammyGuru, we’re getting our first good look at what the upcoming device will most likely look like. Psst, don’t expect any major changes.

Samsung might charge a premium for the Fan Edition device

When compared to the base S25, the S25 FE appears to have slightly thicker bezels. The same bezels, however, appear slightly slimmer when compared to last year’s S24 FE. The same goes for the device’s reported thickness. Measuring in at 61.4 x 76.6 x 7.4mm, the device is expected to be slightly thicker than the base S25 (7.2mm), but thinner than the S24 FE (8mm).

The report indicates that the Fan Edition device will boast a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, which is the same as the Galaxy S25+, complete with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2,600-nits refresh rate. This should let the device reach a peak brightness that’s on-par with the flagship S25 series. Most importantly though, you might be looking at a $50 price hike to accompany the upgrades, bringing the device’s cost up to $700 from $650 last year.

Elsewhere, the upcoming Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are confirmed to be the first set of devices to debut with One UI 8 in stable, and the S25 FE could follow closely with the new software out of the box. Similar to its predecessor, the S25 FE, too, will be supported with seven years of software updates.
