The date is set: Samsung is officially launching its next-generation foldables next week on July 9 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in New York. There have been plenty of leaks hinting at what we can expect Samsung to unveil — the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — but a new case leak might have just confirmed it.

Samsung will unveil its next generation of foldables and smartwatches on July 9th at 10 am ET in New York. Right now, you can reserve a Galaxy Z Flip or Fold 7 to get a $50 Samsung credit — which you can use on official accessories if you do end up buying one of the foldables — earn triple reward points, and also enter a $5,000 sweepstakes.

As spotted by Android Central, Spigen, one of the top case makers for flagship Android smartphones, seems to have accidentally published case listings for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE early.

While the pages for the listings didn’t show images of the phones or cases and were quickly removed from Spigen’s website, Google had already crawled the page. A quick search still reveals the names “Galaxy Z Flip 7” and “Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE,” confirming that we’ll likely see two flip-style foldables at next week’s launch.

That’s not really a surprise at this point, as we’ve already seen full renders and spec leaks for both devices. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to be Samsung’s flagship flip-style foldable with top-tier hardware — although it might use an Exynos chipset this time instead of the Snapdragon processors Samsung has used in the past — along with an edge-to-edge cover screen, similar to the latest Moto Razr phones.

According to leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be Samsung’s more affordable flip-style model this year, taking on the Moto Razr 2025 and Nubia Flip. It will reportedly use a similar cover screen as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and be powered by the Exynos 2400e, a scaled-down version of the Exynos 2400 found in the company’s Galaxy S24 models sold in some markets.

The case leaks have more or less confirmed the names of these new foldables, but it’s not official until Samsung says so, meaning there’s still room for surprises next week.
