The past few days have been relatively busy for fans of Samsung flagships. We came across dummy units of all three Galaxy S26 phones on Thursday, which was followed up by an unofficial render of the Galaxy S26 Edge.

Not to be left out of the action, renders of the entry-level Galaxy S26 Pro and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S26 Ultra have now leaked. These renders come courtesy of Smartprix and focus on the rear panel of the two flagships.

They align perfectly with the aforementioned dummy units, which is no surprise since they were likely used as references for these renders. This also means we’re not learning anything new about their designs. However, these renders offer a much better look at the upcoming devices than the dummy units we encountered earlier this week.

Coming from the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the design changes, even if minor, are immediately apparent. The three rear cameras of the Galaxy S26 Pro sit on a vertical island and are prominently raised. This design for the rear cameras is not new to Samsung, as the recently released Galaxy Z Fold 7 also sports a similar, if not identical, camera island.

Samsung is going all in on camera islands

Renders of the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S26 Pro

As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra render shared by Smartprix, the three primary cameras sit within a similar vertical island, while the fourth camera sensor and the laser autofocus module are placed flush on the surface without an island. The positioning of the LED flash is unchanged from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to currently available information, the Galaxy S26 Pro is expected to be only 6.7mm thick, a significant reduction compared to the Galaxy S25’s 7.2mm frame. On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is reported to be only 7.8mm thick, making it 0.4mm thinner than its predecessor.

Meanwhile, we’ve already received early info on the dimensions of Samsung’s upcoming Ultra flagship, suggesting a slightly larger body compared to its early 2025 sibling, but with more rounded corners.

However, it’s the Galaxy S26 Edge that is expected to be the focus of attention in the design department, thanks to the unavoidable comparisons with the Apple iPhone 17. This ultra-slim smartphone is rumored to be just 5.5mm thick compared to the Galaxy S25 Edge’s 5.8mm frame.
