Jailbreak tweaks of the week: EasyAccess, ifConnected, MotionPicture, & more

Jailbreak Tweaks to check outJailbreak Tweaks to check out

Whether you’re using Pwn20wnd’s unc0ver tool or something else to achieve a jailbreak on your beloved iPhone or iPad, chances are you’re looking for cool new jailbreak tweaks to bring out the best in your newly-pwned handset.

This roundup will encompass all the jailbreak tweaks we’ve shown you this week, starting Monday, December 10th to Sunday, December 16th.

Our favorite releases this week

EasyAccess – $2.50

Let’s face it, the iPhone’s multitasking experience leaves a lot to be desired. Fortunately, a jailbreak tweak called EasyAccess can solve all your problems.

This highly-customizable jailbreak tweak lets you run two apps simultaneously and switch between apps more quickly with a dock that you can summon with Activator.

You can learn more about EasyAccess and why it’s an improvement over the App Switcher in our full review.

ifConnected – FREE

Low Power Mode is a useful tool for conserving power when your battery level runs lower than you’d like, and ifConnected makes Low Power Mode just a bit more versatile.

Once installed, you can set conditions where Low Power Mode will be toggled on or off automatically. For example, being in range of your Home Wi-Fi network or having your device plugged into a power source will toggle Low Power Mode.

You can learn more about ifConnected and why it’s a great option for your iPhone in our full review.

LowBatteryBanner – FREE

If you’ve ever let your iPhone’s battery level drop to 20% or below before, then you’re familiar with iOS’ low battery alerts that appear front-and-center on your display.

These alerts are intrusive and get in the way of whatever you might be doing. Fortunately, LowBatteryBanner converts all these alert notifications into banners, making them easier to swallow during critical tasks.

MotionPicture – $1.50

While Apple has tried to improve the sex appeal of its wallpaper system in iOS, it fell short with Dynamic Wallpapers and Live Photos because they aren’t as customizable as we’d like.

Fortunately, MotionPicture has you covered. This tweak lets you set any animated GIF or MOV/MP4 video file as your Home screen and/or Lock screen wallpaper. That’s right; perpetual motion is now possible in your wallpapers on iOS 11!

While it’s cool, you can probably expect a slight battery drain from a tweak of this nature, which is something to keep in mind.
