Fortnite mobile returns to App Store (for now)

Epic Games has gotten its day in court after a judge decided that Apple needed to allow app developers to offer in-app purchases via external methods that don’t force those same developers to pay the 15-30% Apple tax.

Since then, the developer’s Fortnite mobile game has been reinstated in the App Store. It was previously only available via sideloading or installing via AltStore PAL or the Epic Games Store in the European Union.

iOS 18.4.1 unsigned

Apple released the newer iOS & iPadOS 18.5 firmware last week, so it should come as no surprise that the company has chosen to stop signing iOS & iPadOS 18.4.1 this week.

By unsigning the older firmware, iPhone and iPad owners are no longer able to voluntarily downgrade their firmware. Apple plays this game to prevent downgrades to breached software that can be harnessed for jailbreaking, giving them more control over their user base.

YTVideoOverlay v2.2.3 released: Fixed overflowing text button on older YouTube app versions (free via PoomSmart’s repository)
