SafetyDetectives recently had the opportunity to speak with Rupinder Pal Singh, co-founder and CEO of Seasia Infotech. With a strong background that includes leadership roles at NABARD and academic credentials from the London School of Business and Punjabi University, Singh has built his career around innovation, security, and sustainable growth. At the helm of the Seasia Group of Companies, he focuses on embedding security into every stage of software development, driving secure digital transformation for clients across industries. In this interview, Singh shares how Seasia differentiates itself in the IT and cybersecurity space, the company’s approach to emerging technologies, and his vision for building resilient digital ecosystems in the years ahead.
Can you tell us about your journey into cybersecurity and what led you to start or join Seasia Infotech?
My interest in cybersecurity started when I saw rapid shift to digital business, which was so crucial for progress while creating major security vulnerabilities. Seasia Infotech was founded to build sustainable software and to champion secure digital innovation.
We built our company around a secure-by-design philosophy, making strategic investments in a dedicated security team and a proprietary development framework. This embeds security protocols into every line of code. My motivation was to build a company that adapt to the future, actively shapes it, and helping businesses grow without fear.
Seasia Infotech has grown into a global player with clients in many industries. What would you say sets your approach apart from other IT and software development companies?
Seasia stands out because we embed security into every solution, uniting technology, strategy, and protection into one seamless process that serves as our true differentiator.
Unlike many vendors who bolt on security at the end, we architect it from the beginning, which results in solutions that are not only high-performing but also inherently resilient. This proactive model has earned us the trust of major clients in highly regulated industries.
We believe that by building trust and long-term relationships, we empower our clients to innovate faster and more confidently in a world where security is the ultimate business enabler. Our clients value this because it de-risks their digital transformation, accelerates their time-to-market, and protects their brand reputation.
Cybersecurity is a growing concern for businesses worldwide. How does Seasia Infotech integrate security best practices into its software development and IT solutions?
At Seasia, security is a core component of our DevSecOps culture. We have moved beyond the traditional model of a security team checking for vulnerabilities at the end. Instead, we embed security engineers directly into our development teams. This allows us to integrate practices like threat modelling and automated security testing from the very first line of code. We also invest heavily in continuous training to ensure our teams are always ahead of the latest threats.
We hold our teams accountable through rigorous and continuous auditing, and we empower them with cutting-edge tools. This holistic and proactive strategy is how we ensure that our solutions remain resilient, and our clients can innovate with confidence, knowing their intellectual property and customer data are secure.
With technologies like AI, cloud computing, and blockchain evolving quickly, what opportunities and challenges do you see for your clients—and how is Seasia helping them adapt securely?
Emerging technologies like AI, cloud, and blockchain offer tremendous opportunities to drive efficiency, innovation, and new business models. However, they also introduce new complexities and security risks that require careful management. At Seasia, we help clients navigate this balance by embedding security and compliance at every stage of adoption.
Our approach focuses on designing scalable architectures that leverage the latest advancements while maintaining robust controls to mitigate risk. We build adaptive systems that can evolve as threats and technologies change, empowering clients to innovate boldly without compromising trust or operational stability.
Many organisations struggle to find the right balance between speed of delivery and robust security. How do you ensure that innovation doesn’t come at the cost of security?
At Seasia, we have a DevSecOps culture where security is a shared responsibility, not a separate function. Our developers are empowered with the tools to write secure code from the start, making security an integral part of their workflow, not a final checkpoint.
We heavily automate our security processes within our CI/CD pipelines, using tools for continuous vulnerability scanning and static analysis. This “Security as Code” approach allows us to find and fix issues quickly. By embedding security and continuous monitoring from the beginning, we eliminate the traditional trade-off.
Looking ahead, what’s your vision for Seasia Infotech over the next few years, and how do you see the cybersecurity landscape shaping the direction of your company?
My vision for Seasia is to lead the world in secure digital transformation where cybersecurity isn’t treated as a hurdle but embraced as the foundation of everything we build. In a rapidly evolving landscape, security will remain our compass, shaping solutions that earn trust and drive lasting growth.
In the coming years, we’ll evolve from building secure products to delivering proactive security as a service. We will ensure continuous protection and resilience for our clients.
This means offering continuous threat intelligence, managed DevSecOps, and resilience planning. As AI-powered attacks and supply chain vulnerabilities grow, our competitive advantage will be our ability to predict and neutralize threats before they can impact our clients.
Our focus on resilience will enable us to expand into new, high-value sectors like critical infrastructure and healthcare where security is non-negotiable. At Seasia, our future is about building reliable digital ecosystems that businesses can trust and grow with confidence.
