1) Add EPEL Repository
First, before we install the Ajenti Control Panel, we need to add the EPEL repository required for the install of Ajenti dependencies.
sudo dnf -y install epel-releaseInstall Ajenti dependencies.

After adding the required repositories and downloading the dependencies, we are now set to install Ajenti Control Panel on CentOS 8|RHEL 8|Rocky Linux 8 using this command. This script downloads and automatically installs Ajenti

With the Ajenti service started, we need to open port 8000 on the firewall. With the port enabled through the firewall, we will be able to access and login into the Ajenti web interface. To allow the port through the firewall on CentOS 8|RHEL 8|Rocky Linux 8 use:
sudo firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=8000/tcp
sudo firewall-cmd --reload3) Access and Use Ajenti Control Panel
Ajenti works on port 8000 with secure HTTP(HTTPS). Now we access the Web Interface using the server IP http://ip:8000 or domain-name http://domainname.com:8000.
Log in with your system’s credentials i.e Username as the username on your system and password. On successful login, you will see this dashboard.
Plugins Management
To access the Plugins and settings page, you need to be logged in with the root account.
Here, you can install additional plugins then restart the panel to apply settings.
Changing hostname, Language and SSL Settings
Under the settings tab, you can edit your hostname, set your language, enable SSL to enhance security amongst many other settings.
Access File manager, notepad, Terminal
You can access the Tools, such as the file manager, notepad, and the terminal with any user account. On the File Manager, you can create, upload files e.t.c on your system.
Notepad will help you create and edit text files on your system. This can be used to create and edit config files on your system.
On the terminal, you can execute your desired terminal commands such as installing packages, updating your system e.t.c
Services Management
The services tab consists of system services. Here you can stop and start services.
Superuser access
You can elevate an account if you aren’t logged in as a superuser by navigating to the far right corner and click on the user displayed then select elevate. You will be required to enter password authentication.
The Ajenti service can be started or stopped using the command.
