If you ever needed a reason to grab the Pixel Buds Pro 2, now’s going to be that time

We’ve talked about earbuds before, and how you can get a pretty good pair without spending a lot of money. But if you want a great pair made by Google, we’d easily suggest picking up the Pixel Buds Pro 2. Now, at $229 they’re harder to recommend, but at their current discounted price of $165, we’d say get them while they’re on sale.

What’s great about the Pixel Buds Pro 2?

They wouldn’t be a great premium pair of earbuds if they didn’t produce great sound. And we can report that the sound is pretty good out of the box, but can be even better with a little adjustment. In addition, the ANC and passthrough are fantastic, which means you can shut out bothersome environmental noise when you want, or bring it in when you need to be aware of your surroundings.

The battery life is also quite good, with eight hours of use and 30 hours total with the charging case. And they’re also quite comfortable in the ears too. Plus, a single press on the earbuds brings up Gemini, which can be helpful when you can’t bring out your phone. If you’re not looking for an AI assistant, you can turn it off as well.

For the most part, these are a very solid pair of earbuds. The current price makes it an easy buy, unless you’re looking to spend more to get something better. If not, get these while you still can. The price is just right.
