Samsung’s flagship launch event is scheduled to take place this week, and we already know almost everything the tech giant will reveal.

Samsung’s summer Unpacked is synonymous with its foldables, with the remaining reveals stuck playing second fiddle. The South Korean tech giant’s Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are expected to headline the show, with the first-ever Fan Edition Z Flip 7 FE likely rounding out the foldable announcements.

Samsung will unveil its next generation of foldables and smartwatches on July 9th at 10 am ET in New York. Right now, you can reserve a Galaxy Z Flip or Fold 7 to get a $50 Samsung credit — which you can use on official accessories if you do end up buying one of the foldables — earn triple reward points, and also enter a $5,000 sweepstakes.

We’re also expecting Samsung to reveal three new wearables at the event, including the Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a new version of the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Thanks to early leaks and rumors, we know about the wearables’ potential sizing. The Galaxy Watch 8, for example, will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, while the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra will only be available in 46mm and 47mm variants, respectively.

More importantly, though, all three Galaxy Watches are expected to come out of the gate with One UI 8.0 Watch installed, paired with the Exynos W1000 chipset across the board. Speaking of software, a major highlight of the upcoming series might just be one that’s powered by Google.

We already know that Gemini is making its way to Wear OS wearables, and it looks like Samsung’s upcoming Watch 8 series and Watch Ultra might just be the first devices to feature it.

WinFuture’s Roland Quandt (via 9to5Google) got their hands on what appears to be Samsung’s official marketing material for the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, and it clearly highlights Gemini functionality.

We only see Gemini running in the marketing photo of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, but it’s highly probable that if Gemini is coming to one of the upcoming wearables, it’s coming to ’em all. The second image shared by Quandt highlights the Galaxy Watch 8 running One UI 8’s Running Coach.

Whether the upcoming wearables will offer Gemini out of the gate, or if the AI voice assistant will be enabled with a subsequent update remains to be seen.
