We’ve reviewed, reported, and liked a lot of Garmin wearables recently, doting on the long battery life the devices have reportedly achieved. However, leaks from Garmin’s Canadian website have revealed there may be something new being released by the wearables manufacturer.

The last time we officially heard from Garmin was at CES earlier this month, when it announced that full nutrition tracking was coming to the Garmin Connect. However, it seems the company has a brand-new wearable that it should be ready to share soon, but not as soon as it just did.

Garmin’s latest wearable has made an appearance

According to Android Authority, the company appeared to accidentally leak the existence of a device called the Cirqa Smart Band on its Canadian website. The listing has since been pulled down, but not before a Redditor snagged a screenshot.

Interestingly, the listing did not include any images, but it did include a few details, noting that the band will be available in two sizes (S/M and L/XL) and that two colors will be available upon launch (Black and French Gray). The device will also be able to ship within four to five months.

In addition to the listing, the5krunner captured screenshots of the search results, revealing that the S/M size fits a wrist circumference of 120 mm to 200 mm, while the L/XL size fits a wrist circumference of 145 mm to 200 mm.

In my opinion, this was most likely done by someone with access to the site’s back end accidentally clicking publish before the company was ready to announce the product. Although it hints that the launch will happen soon, the shipping date suggests units will arrive at customer’s doorsteps by the middle of the year, right in time for the peak outdoor exercise/running season.

It’s safe to assume that this product will be released in the US, but there have been products in the past that were Canadian exclusives, especially in the automotive industry. We’ll have to wait until the official release date to gather more information on availability and to learn exactly what its features are.
