We’re still weeks away from the first official look at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z series phones, but we’ve seen so many high-resolution foldable renders that they seem like our next-of-kin already. Case in point, a new set of images just arrived via prominent leaker Evan Blass’ Substack, now in all three colors slated to adorn the Galaxy Z Fold 7 (except in some potential Samsung-exclusive instances). They don’t depart significantly from some Z Fold 6 colors, although availability has been swapped around, and it looks like a minor gimmick got the axe, too.

Samsung

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will unleash the company’s most advanced new devices on the market. We know enough about many of them — such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 — to take advantage of Samsung’s offer of $50 in store credit in exchange for pre-registering for the Unpacked event. By signing up now, you’ll get that $50 discounted from the price of a new device reservation.

What’s black, gray, or blue all over?

Pray for interesting cases

They’re coming from all angles at breakneck speed. Rumors of the new Galaxy foldables, that is; A subtle leak recently hinted at black and pink Z Flip 7 FE variants, and a bold, new Coral color got tipped just yesterday by none other than Evan Blass himself.

So today’s three-piece of nearly identical renders doesn’t come as a surprise. The interesting part, of course, is the only difference between the images: the color. Assuming these are the Z Fold 7’s main colors, and not any of the Samsung.com-only offerings, last year’s exclusive tones appear to have been slightly altered and moved into wider production.

You’ve got the deep, rich Blue Shadow providing arguably the most luxurious look. Then there’s the eye-catching Silver Shadow, for those who want to show off their top-of-the-line foldable. Finally, a classic Jet Black should work for buyers who often use full-body cases, or don’t mind their smartphone having a somewhat inconspicuous appearance.

Again, although there’s no clear indication, these are probably not the Samsung-exclusive colorways. We would hardly expect last year’s website-only, carbon fiber-inspired Crafted Black to make a return, due to its middling popularity and the existence of a mainline black version (but anything’s possible). Furthermore, it wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung has saved a couple flashier colors or visual designs for its first-party sales. These aren’t, after all, the most inspiring or mind-blowing outfits we’ve seen on recent phones.

Finally, check out the lens array on this bad boy. Isn’t it huge? Maybe the camera housing is massive, maybe the phone is shockingly thin, but more likely, it’s some combination of the two. We’ll know for absolutely certain after the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9.
