Many of Google’s services had a great 2025, but YouTube TV wasn’t one of them, neither for the users nor for the Mountain View tech giant. YouTube TV users were hit by channel blackouts, and then an increase in price by $10. No mass cancellations were reported after that, nor has Google released any official data regarding how many users left following those developments.

We may never know the number, but the company’s discount offer in the following month for new users was largely seen as damage control and an indication that it might have lost some subscribers. Barely a month has passed since then, and Google has come up with another discount offer, this time for those who are already subscribed to YouTube TV.

You can save $80 on your YouTube TV subscription

But there is a twist

As spotted by 9to5Google, users on Reddit and X reported that a new discount offer has surfaced on their YouTube TV account page, allowing users to continue with their base plan of the subscription for $62.99 per month for the next four months. That’s a handsome $80 discount, but it arrives in $20 monthly tranches.

However, in the comments section of the Reddit threads, many users have also pointed out that the discount offer wasn’t available to them. Folks over at 9to5Google didn’t see the offer on their YouTube TV account page, either. We also checked our account page, but we didn’t see anything at the time of writing this.

This suggests that Google may have made the discount offer available only to select users, so don’t be surprised if you don’t see the $20 monthly discount offer on your YouTube TV account page.

As for how to check the discount, go to tv.youtube.com/settings/subscriptions from your browser and tap Manage. If the discount offer is available for your account, you’ll see a button labeled “Get $20 off your current plan.” You won’t see the button if the offer isn’t available for you.

For those of you who got the offer, if you agree to it, you’ll pay $62.99/mo instead of $82.99/mo for the next four months. However, there is no clarity from Google on how many days it will continue offering this discount, and whether this promotional offer will eventually be available to all existing users.
