The malformedInputAction() method is a built-in method of the java.nio.charset.CharsetEncoder returns this encoder’s current action for malformed-input errors. The CodingErrorAction thus returned are of three types IGNORE, REPLACE and REPORT.
Syntax:
public CodingErrorAction malformedInputAction()
Parameters: The function does not accepts any parameter.
Return Value: The function returns the current malformed-input action, which is never null.
Below is the implementation of the above function:
Program 1:
// Java program to implement// the above functionimport java.nio.CharBuffer;import java.nio.charset.Charset;import java.nio.charset.CharsetEncoder;  public class Main {    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception    {        // Gets the encoder        CharsetEncoder encoder = Charset.forName("UTF16").newEncoder();          // Prints CodingErrorAction        System.out.println(encoder.malformedInputAction());    }} |
REPORT
Program 2:
// Java program to implement// the above functionimport java.nio.CharBuffer;import java.nio.charset.Charset;import java.nio.charset.CharsetEncoder;  public class Main {    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception    {        // Gets the encoder        CharsetEncoder encoder = Charset.forName("US-ASCII").newEncoder();          // Prints CodingErrorAction        System.out.println(encoder.malformedInputAction());    }} |
REPORT
