Let’s start with the foldables. According to the report’s European retailer sources, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will hold steady at €1,999 in Germany, the same as the Z Fold 6. Considering last year’s Fold came with a price hike that wasn’t exactly justified by hardware or innovation, keeping it flat this year seems like the right move. That said, earlier leaks hinted at a price increase, so we’ll believe it when we see it.

More surprising (yet always welcome) is the rumored price cut for the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Samsung may drop its starting price to €1,099, down €100 from last year’s Flip 6. It’s unclear how much of that savings will cross the Atlantic (the Z Flip 6 currently starts at $1,099 in the US), but it’s a big win for European buyers if true.

On the smartwatch side, things get more expensive. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Samsung’s creatively named answer to the Apple Watch Ultra 2, will reportedly stick to its predecessor’s €699 (or $649 in the US) launch price. But the standard Galaxy Watch 8 is expected to jump by €40 to €50 over the Galaxy Watch 7, which launched at €319 in Europe (or $299 in the US). Expect the base model to start around €369–€379. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic may cost €500, up from €449 on the previous Classic.

With Samsung doubling down on storage upgrades and new health tracking features, the higher price might be justified, but it still stings. We’ll know for sure on July 9, when Samsung unveils its latest devices. Let’s just hope the Flip 7’s rumored price drop makes it worldwide.
